RISHAD SAAM MEHTA
Everyone says he has the best job in the world. He gets paid to travel the globe. Then writes page-fulls of his wonderful encounters and posts spectacular pictures of things he sees.
But everyone cannot do what comes so naturally to Rishad. He drives across countries, often continents. Walks the narrow streets. Has tea with a local — listens to everything he says. Which is where great stories come from.
That was the concept behind his identity-doodle. The line plots Rishad's path as the arrives at a destination, takes every bit of it in and moves on to the next one — rich with stories and experiences.
A wedding invitation for a couple that remain lifelong Gooners. The cannon from the Arsenal crest had to find its position of prominence. The embossed meandros pattern on the border was taken from the floor tiles of their room.
BARODA ROYAL FAMILY — BARODA CROWN
When Pratap, the young scion of the Gaekwad family, approached me to work on a makeover of the royal family crest it was exciting and terrifying — there would be many fathers to this project and a lot of people would have their say (and voice their disapproval). And though everything didn't go my way, I was delighted that something so minimal and simple was finally the design everyone approved of.
The crest will be used as the holding company logo for a number of businesses Pratap will oversee in the coming years.
Typeface: Bolyar Pro

Concept: The New School, is the fish that swims against the tide of conventional approaches to explore newer solutions.
FAST CARD & FIDGETY FEET
Fortunate enough to have a completely crazy travel writer for a childhood friend who was crazy enough to trust me completely with the cover of a book about stories from driving, and walking, around the world.
The typography was whimsical and carefree much like Rishad's personality. The style was like a personal diary or journal complete with the elastic band. The illustration was reminiscent of the writers heavy walking boots (he has since moved to wearing only Adidas Hamburg — good boy).
Typefaces: Lady Rene and Lunchbox
A software company formed with the coming together of six vibrant young minds. The one-word essence for the identity was TRANSFORMATION. The need to continuously change, adapt and evolve to bring forward the best solution for the client.
That story was told through the ancient seven piece puzzle of the tangram which became the heart of the identity. A small presentation uploaded here was used to take the client and their core team through the conceptualisation of their company's new logo and identity.
Typeface: Aviano Contrast for Logotype, Museo for stationery and copy

Concept: The Endless Knot, a closed, graphic ornament composed of right-angled, intertwined lines. A graphic that draws you in as you gaze upon it, yet has much significance: It overlaps without a beginning or an end, symbolising the Buddha’s endless wisdom and compassion. Since all phenomena are interrelated, the placing of the endless knot on a gift or card is understood to establish a connection between the giver and the recipient.
